Our Story
In 2007, Teresa moved to Dubai to assist her family in their telecommunications business. Amidst the bustling city life, she noticed her friends struggling to find their dream wedding dresses. This observation ignited a spark in Teresa, revealing a deep-seated passion for fashion, particularly bridal couture.
Determined to turn her newfound passion into a craft, Teresa immersed herself in the world of bridal dress design and craftsmanship. She spent two years rigorously studying and honing her skills at a prestigious couture house. In 2010, her dedication culminated in the grand opening of her first bridal retail store in Dubai, a sanctuary for brides seeking elegance and perfection.
Following the success of her store, Teresa Atelier quickly gained a reputation for designing and manufacturing gowns for some of the most esteemed bridal labels in the industry. With a design studio in Dubai and a manufacturing facility in China, Teresa Atelier creates gowns that reflect a blend of tradition and modernity, offering brides around the world wearable art that celebrates their individuality and love story.
In 2018, Teresa relocated to the UK to support her family’s telecommunications endeavors once again. Despite the move, her passion for bridal design remained unwavering. After three years, she made a triumphant return to the bridal industry by founding Teresa Atelier, a brand that embodies her unique vision and meticulous craftsmanship.
March 2022 marked a significant milestone for Teresa Atelier, as Teresa unveiled her exquisite designs at London Bridal Fashion Week, captivating audiences with her innovative and timeless creations. Since then, Teresa Atelier has continued to showcase its stunning collections at major international bridal events, including Harrogate Bridal Week, National Bridal Market Chicago, and Barcelona Bridal Week, further establishing its presence in the global bridal fashion industry.
Today, Teresa Atelier stands as a beacon of elegance and bespoke craftsmanship, continually setting new standards in bridal fashion.

Juan Muniz
Juan Muniz, professionally known as “1M,” was born in the Philippines, where his artistic talents were nurtured from a young age. At 25, he relocated to the Middle East, specifically to Riyadh and Dubai, where he has since built an impressive portfolio. Juan’s career was shaped by his time working alongside some of the fashion industry’s most respected figures, including three years with the iconic Michael Cinco and other esteemed designers. This invaluable experience, combined with multiple degrees, has allowed Juan to hone his craft to perfection.
Juan Muniz seamlessly blends his passion for design with a life deeply rooted in his faith. His specialty lies in crafting exquisite couture and ready-to-wear wedding gowns that exude timeless elegance and vibrant style. His designs reflect his multicultural background and profound passion for fashion, creating a brand that is both sophisticated and deeply meaningful. Each piece, while refined and composed on the surface, carries a captivating story woven into its meticulously tailored threads.
